Scar/stretch mark revision and camouflage is ideal for stretch marks from growth and scars that are the result of trauma, surgery, burns or self-harm. To be eligible for treatment, your scars must be at least one year old. During your consultation, your technician will determine your eligibility for treatment and devise a plan appropriate for your individual needs and desired results.

During your consult, we will discuss your desired results, treatment options for both scar revision and areola restoration and what to expect during the procedure and healing process. This is your time to take in all the information we can provide and ask any questions you may have. We will use this time to do a pre-design, a colour match, and a patch test to ensure there are no adverse reactions to the pigments prior to your treatment.
NOTE: You must be one-year post-surgery to be eligible for scar revision and six months post-surgery for areola restoration. Cancer survivors must be one-year post-surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy and must provide a doctor's note of clearance prior to the procedure.

Scar/stretch mark revision is performed using a technique known as microneedling, needling, or collagen induction therapy to infuse the area with serums that break down scar tissue and promote cell renewal. The cell renewal process results in scars and stretch marks that appear less dramatic in colour and texture. This procedure can also improve elasticity and mobility in the damaged tissue surrounding the area.
A similar technique, known as inkless tattoo, can be used on stretch marks for a more precise treatment. This technique uses a rotary tattoo machine and serum rather than pigment to promote cell renewal.
Scar and stretch marks can also be camouflaged by way of cosmetic tattooing. This technique implants pigment customized to your skin tone to mask the scar or stretch mark and blend it into the surrounding tissue.
Your technician will help you determine the best course of treatment for your desired results.
NOTE: Not all scars can be treated and those suffering from keloid and hypertrophic scarring are not candidates for these procedures. We recommend booking a consultation to determine your eligibility and treatment plan options. For best results, 2-6 treatments are typically required.

Areola Restoration involves the creation of an artistic 3D hyper-realistic tattoo using cosmetic pigment to enhance, restore or re-establish the areola and nipple after injury, trauma, or breast surgery including breast cancer mastectomy and reconstruction, gender-affirming surgery, breast reduction, or breast augmentation. It can also be an excellent option for treating post-breastfeeding scarring and imperfections.
